FALSE TEACHERS
Tit 2:1 ¶
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: If I ever preach anything
that is not sound doctrine, I plead with you to show me my error. Because the world to day is full of false
teachers, teachings things that they ought not.
We do not need another.
Gal 1:6 ¶ I
marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of
Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is
not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel
of Christ.
There are many today who pervert the
gospel and whose mouths need to be stopped. Tit 1:11
Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which
they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
They teach what the general populace wants to
hear. at least what the majority of
those in their denomination want s to hear.
This way they can sell their books, tapes, vi does, ect. this way they continue to get support. Most all on television are in the business to
make money. Big bucks are involved.
One may say how can they get away
with this when we all have a bible. One
reason is people do not read and think for themselves. One large reason is because of the tree of
knowledge and good and evil.
Ever since man ate of the tree of
knowledge and good and evil. He is
poisoned by the fruit of that tree. We
think that we by our knowledge know as God knows what is good and what is evil. Ge 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your
eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. See statan's lie. People have told me that God gave them a
brain and they knew what was good and evil some even referring to the tree of
knowledge of good and evil. But this brought froth death. It caused Adam and eve to look at themselves,
instead of doing God's will. The
same thing happens today when we trust our knowledge of good and evil. By our knowledge of good we become self
righteous.
Jer 10:23 O
LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that
walketh to direct his steps. We do not
know how to direct our own steps because by our knowledge of good and evil, we
do not know the will of God.
Isaiah 55:9-11 False teachers and preachers play on our natural knowledge. Many are honest and deceived themselves.
By their fruit Mat. 7:15-23
How shall we know what is God's will. Shall we
know it by our emotions? No! By a dream
or a sign? No! By our reasoning power?
No! By our knowledge of good? No! How then? By the word of God!!! 2Tim. 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness: 17 That the man of God
may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
In the time when Christ was alive on the
earth the Religious leaders were deceived and deceivers. Mt 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the
commandments of men. Our country is filled with
this today. Mat. 23:13-24
these religious leaders hated Christ
because he was a treat to their control over the populace and thus a treat to
their power and wealth. thus because of
their envy they had him killed. Because
of their knowledge of good they saw Christ as evil.
They would not allow people to enter
into the Kingdom. Religious leaders do
the same thing today. They teach lies
that hinder and keep people who seek God's kingdom out. They tell lies that keep people outside of
Christ because they want to keep them in their denomination or group or so that
they can keep the money coming in. It is
the devil's work. It is his lie. It is the result of the tree of knowledge of
good and evil.
One powerful lie is people are told
that they are saved without them being in Christ. The idea is that when you have an religious
emotional experience you are born of the spirit. You are saved and you are in Christ. Thus they say that Baptism is an outward
expression of an inward decision.
this is not what God's word
teaches. This is not what is revealed by
the spirit. Acts 2:37-38 & Acts
22:16 Paul's conversion. Gal. 3:27
Baptism is far more than an outward
expression of an inward decision. It is
the operation of God which puts us into Christ. Col 2:12
Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith
of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 ¶ And you, being dead in your sins and the
uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having
forgiven you all trespasses;
It is more than an outward expression
because it is this act of submission that brings us into the death and blood of
Jesus Christ.
Ro 6:3 Know
ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized
into his death? 4 Therefore we are
buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from
the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of
life. & Ro 6:17-18 But God be thanked, that ye were
the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine
which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became
the servants of righteousness.
According to the spirit, and
according to the will of God Baptism is essential for salvation. 1 Peter 3:21
Now if you were saved before you were
baptized... Then you baptism is invalid because it was for the wrong reason. Ac 19:1 ¶ And it came to
pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper
coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2 He said unto them, Have ye received the
Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as
heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
3 And he
said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's
baptism. 4 Then said Paul, John verily
baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they
should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ
Jesus. 5 When they heard this, they were
baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
If you were baptized after you were
saved, you are still outside of Christ.
You have obeyed a lie.
