COVENANT
We
walk together in brotherly love and make the following commitment to God and the
ministry of Liberty Baptist Church:
We
will not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, caning together as often
as possible in love for our Lord Jesus Christ and for each other.
We
will exercise Christian care and watchfulness over each other in all that we do
and in all things we will seek and guard the honor and the true function of the
church.
We
will walk together in Christian love and strive for the advancement of this
church in knowledge and holiness.
We
will share in each other’s joys, an endeavor with tenderness and sympathy, to
bear each other’s burdens and sorrows.
We
will seek divine aid to enable us to walk circumspectly and watchfully in the
world, denying ungodliness and every worldly lust.
We
will endeavor by example an effort to win souls to Christ, and to live to the
glory of Him who has called us out of darkness and into His marvelous light.
