The Boogie Man, childhood nightmare. At least yours, right? Ha, well, did you picture him like this? Alright, Oogie Boogie is the meanest guy in town who keeps to himself and gambles as a hobby. He dwells underneath Lock, Shock, and Barrel's tree house in a casino on crack style room. The floor is a turn table game, cowboys with guns are in the walls, there is an eight ball with daggers hanging over a lava pit, and playing cards with knives that come from the floor. Oogie has no interest in what's going on in Halloween Town, unless, of coarse, he can get something out of it like Santa as a meal.
Oogie Boogie has no admiration for Jack, unlike the rest of the town. Probably because Oogie only sees the evil in things and thinks Jack is a fraud. However, a slight annotation of fear comes from the boogie man monster when he encountered the Pumpkin King at the end of the movie. Simply, Oogie is mostly talk and cheap shots based f dirty tricks and a reputation that proceeds him as the fabled nightmare.
