Everybody knows Tom. The host of Toonami which is the best block of TV outside of KidsWB at 8:30 and 10:00. Well, this is my shrine to Tom-san. It was inspired by the Intruder special on Toonami(9/18 - 9/22). Enjoy!
Tom's 1st version (7/16/99-9/21/00)
"Animes come and go but one thing that always stays the same is Tom." That statement was proven false on September 9, 2000 on level 51, starboard engine, of the Absolution as the world's best anime host they'd ever seen changed looks. Tom(in 1st form) hosted Toonami through 2 running of Gundam Wing, one episode short of 2 running of the Sailor Moon S saga, the confusing time when Thundercats was on at 4:00, he also hosted through 2 1/2 sagas of Tenchi. In three days, he'll have hosted 3 full runnings of Gundam Wing. Tom's first shell, being the best word, was destroyed by a bio eating intruder while defending the Absolution even after have one encounter with it.
Tom's 2nd Version (9/22/00-?)
Tom kicked as* before, now he just kicks as* in dark blue. Yep, Tom got upgraded. New look, same old Tom-san. I liked the old look a little better but aslong as it's still Tom, it's all good! Tom2 was designed by Sara, the Absolution's AI onboard computer. If you ask me, she had her own intrests in mind. Anyway, Tom is taller(his feet reach the ground when he sits down now), a dark blue, and afew modifications here and there. Just look at it as Tom getting a new outfit. He's not dead, just upgraded.
I don't care if this sounds over the top, Tom rules, so he gets a shrine even if he's not an anime charecter..
