Getting Thirteen Ready For School
I got up this morning, and put my robe and house shoes on, so I could get the kids out of bed.
I sit up, so I could wake up, and shake the sleep from my head.
I went to each room, so I could tell the kids to get up, and get ready for school.
The oldest had her door locked, and I had to open the door with a tool.
I went down to the kitchen to fix their breakfast first and next their lunch.
Oh Lord I hear them coming down the stairs like cattle in a bunch!
I am making a sandwich as the middle boy Joe passes me by and drops a marble down in the sink.
Sally the oldest is on the phone, and John my youngest just threw some jelly at his twin Kenny I think.
Johnny just threw something at Cletus, I think it was a sticky ice cream cone.
Oh Lord, here comes Sally in that direction, She just got off the phone.
I wheel to the site to clean up the mess, but then Judy walks right into me and gets it on her dress. So she heads up stairs to change her clothes again.
Oh my goodness, what are those boys doing I see heading around the bend?
When I go to look, there is my Triplets Paddy, Frank, And Ben, Looks like those monkeys put the cat in the dryer again.
I let the cat out as he jets out with a yowl.
Finally ones eating, I think it is Al.
I hear the bus coming, So I hand out the lunches.....
I think the last two was Emma and Suzie,
Finally they are gone, and I am all alone, so I am going to get in the Jacuzzi!!!!
