Taking Jesus Shopping

 God is love, God is good...

 So I thought I'd take him shopping in my neighborhood.

We went to the store, and I got mad, because

I saw something I needed, and just had to have.

But my wallet when I looked,

Was emptier than the words in a really bad book.

Then I looked on the floor, and what did I see?

I saw a twenty dollar bill laying there staring back at me.

I picked it up, and thought what luck...

I'll have enough to get what I need down to the very last buck.

I paid for my stuff, and then I went home.

I was so happy, that I sang all day long.

In taking Jesus shopping, why he met all my needs.

And the next time I go shopping, I'm always taking Jesus with me.
