Soda Shop Love

I was standing on the corner one day.

When I looked and saw this soda shop across the way.

and through the window I saw your beautiful green eyes.

looking at the menu wondering what you would buy.

I crossed the road and made my way to the door.

one glance at you, and you walked across the floor.

You said hi my name is Bill.

Would you like to join me, and I said I think I will.

we talked for hours about everything.

sunshine, flowers, and wedding rings.

so one year later here we stand.

standing in the chapel hand in hand.

So many wonderful memories in that soda shop place.

Every time I think of it, it puts a smile on my face.
