I know that you hurt inside, I can see that you are blue in
your eyes.
You feel like you are not worth the effort or love, but to hold
you and to love you is the best that I know to do, that and sit and hold you
while you cry.
You have been made to feel like you're not worth the trouble,
and that you should just be left to take the fall.
First it was your momma and daddy, no they weren't good to you
and your sister at all.
Then you marry thinking things would be better this time.
But too, he mistreats you, and the way he treats you should be
a crime.
Add insult to injury, and your house and all you have burns
down.
You get a new place with your husband and kids, but the police
drags you out into the crowd.
You are sent to jail with no way to save your kids, your
marriage, or your place.
He brings home a new woman while you are gone, and when you
come home, she's all up in your face, Because you had no way to defend
yourself while you was all locked up in that terrible place.
But still you try to go on, and you try
to get on with your life.
But it seems all you can do lately is just sit down and cry.
I know you feel that your not worth it baby, but you do deserve
to be loved to.
I know they brought you down, and you don't think you deserve
to be around, but I will hold you when you are blue.
And you need to know, that I want you around, because you are
home with people
who love you too.
And no you don't have to constantly look around because we're
all going to forever be there for you. Yes we'll be there for you....yes,
we'll be there for you.
