I've Learned

I've learned in this life that good friends are hard to find.

I've learned that it is hard to find someone in which to give your heart to that one can trust.

I've learned that no one is perfect until you've grown to love them.

And then they shine brighter than the brightest star in God’s heavens.

I have learned in this life, that there is nothing that will make you feel better than a smile.

They cost nothing but your time, and can heal even the most wounded heart.

I've learned that the simple things in life, such as a beautiful, rich sunset, or the smile of a close friend can make you richer than all the riches in the world.

I've learned that a long, warm embrace, the caress of a butterflies wings, and a warm, fuzzy kitten can make a bad day disappear. I've learned that we must stop once in a while to stop and smell the roses, walk in the rain, and walk through the grass barefoot, or life will pass you by.

And I've learned that being your friend makes me richer than all of the love on Gods green planet.
