Dr Thaxton - Thaxton Mississippi

The now abandoned house we investigated is avoided by the locals and talked about in hushed whispers by the town's children.

The current owners of the home do not live in the home, and have no intention of ever doing so.

The actual records are pretty scarce, but everyone seems to have a story about the old house... At one time the house was a tavern, at another, it was a hospital and surgery. Depending on who you talk to Dr. Thaxton was a kind and generous man virtuous to a fault, or a hanging judge reminiscent of Judge Roy Bean. Several sources have told me that Dr. Thaxton was the Mayor, Constable, Judge , Jury, and the town Doctor.

Either way, it's a strange old house.. and our investigations have hardly begun.

The home is set back a little from the road. This was taken on our second trip to the house.

The first expedition I made into the house was at 6:30 am.. Usually early mornings prove to be a good time for preliminary investigations.. but after rthe first time, I was ready to write off the house as a dead cell. No activity at all.

but at night, it's a different story.

Things started off a little quiet, but around 9 pm... thing started happening.

The last resident of the house died in the home in the late 1970's.. he went to sleep under an electric blanket.. and stayed there.. he was found 3 days later... partially cooked.

We found quite a few orbs in our expeditions, a lot of random energy readings and collected a few evp's.

there were a lot of spirits who had a lot to say to us.. In this first one.. well you can figure it out.

During our investigations, we found roving energy fields, with emf readings ranging from.01 to 9.

We collected video of orbs and such, (I have no way to post video...sorry) and quite a few pictures.. This one picture is interesting, because it has an orb, a green light that showed up a couple of times, and a mist.. but mostly we collected evp's
