Return to AberdeenOn July 30th 2004, we returned for a second investigation of the Aberdeen Historic Cemetery and the Oddfellows Rest Cemetery in the city of Aberdeen, Mississippi.Aberdeen itself is a truly beautiful place, full of antebellum homes, historic sites and (reportedly) a good many ghosts. On previous visits, we were surprised at the warm welcome we recieved. Clyde (the editor of the Tombigbee magazine) accompanied us on the first expedition and set up the second for us. Photographerwritermom (She doesn't want her real name used online), a local resident, has already collected tons of photographic anomalies from these sites (you can get to her website on our link page). Thank you to the city of Aberdeen, Clyde Wilson, the "Chief" and to Photographerwritermom (and her daughter) for the wonderful hospitality. The investigation: Time: 8:30 pm Temp: 86 degrees EMF Basal reading .02 mg Attending: Dr. Bob, Sarah, Jeff, photographerwritermom & daughter Equipment:IR video camera, Digital recorders, Still cameras, EMF meters, IR Thermometer, Geiger counter.

Fairly Normal
As the light gradually faded, we took our base readings and split up to explore the two cemeteries. Even if they had no activity at all, they were still wonderful places to see.. This is the famous weeping angel.. Legend has it that at certain times this angel will look up at you. .. If it does, it never happened while we were there. |
8:50 PM
We started getting readings about this time, and this photograph was taken when the meter spiked at 5 milligauss |
Hunting
By following the EMF meter, you can track anomalies that are not visible to the naked eye.. I followed the meter with my camera lens.
