Investigation: Aberdeen Cemeteries

On June 15th 2004, we were invited to investigate two cemeteries in Aberdeen, Mississippi. The Aberdeen Historical Cemetery, and The Oddfellows Cemetery.

Accompanied by Clyde Wilson, Editor of the Tombigbee Magazine, (a really great magazine by the way, check it out), and a couple of guests, we were awestruck by the sheer enormity and age of the site.

It would be really easy to get lost in such a massive place.

The City of Aberdeen takes care of it's cemeteries.. Historic monuments of the past kept are well preserved and landscaped.

The Historic Cemetery

This place is like a city for the dead.

It is huge! It takes a couple of hours at a good pace to walk the whole thing.

Look Closely..

During the daylight hours, we didn't get much activity.

but sometimes, you get the feeling that you are not alone.

Fading light

The EMF was a constant .02 mg before nightfall.
