The Highland House

Owned by Dr. James and Celeta Holzhauer, it is quite an impressive place.

I have to admit I was so busy looking at this beautiful place, I almost couldn't keep my thoughts on the investigation at hand.

Celeta Holzhauer Gave us a tour of the home.. telling us many spooky stories and strange happenings in the mansion's past. The history of the place was fascinating, and I will soon put up a page just concerning that.

During the tour, we were shown old photgraphs of the previous residents and told of their many "adventures" in life. The emf readings were varied and we found many "hot spots" including a large collection of old dolls that seem to have their own magnetic field.

The most suprising thing was what we got in the mirror of the game room.

We went back and tried to debunk this picture.

we couldn't.

1. there is no picture of this person in that room.

2. The only photo of this person is located on the floor below and has a large crack in the glass covering.. we were unable to get a clear photograph of the original due to the condition of the glass covering it.

3. we tried every angle shooting pictures and couldn't duplicate the effect.

it couldnt be just light and shadow, because there is a picture of this person on the previous floor.

I highly recommend the Highland house as place to stay.. a wonderful mansion and B&B.. the tour itself is quite spooky and something you definitely don't want to miss..

you can rent a private room there..

but you may not be as alone as you think.

one more thing.. If indeed it is haunted (no, we are nout sure yet).. they are friendly.
