The Watcher in the Woods

There is something inherently creepy about 13 graves (with their headstones reversed.. yes the writing faces away from the graves) In the middle of nowhere, but not in this case.. it felt peaceful and almost welcoming.

We arrived on site at 7:30 pm and began getting base readings.. nothing unusual.. in fact we were pretty sure this was a "dead site" (excuse the pun).

We got no readings at all on the EMF meter at first (just the normal background of .1 to .2 mg.)and the IR thermometer was steady at 78 to 82 degrees.

There is a distinct impression of being observed...

Gene (doing temperature readings) calls to us that he has several temperature drops.. coming from directly over the graves..

The temperature was varying 10 degrees cooler (on average)directly over each grave than in between the graves.

The feeling of "being watched" increases and is seperately reported to me by several members...

Fleur (using the EMF meter) feels that putting away the EMF meter for a few minutes might bring more activity.. (The effective range of an EMF meter is only about 6 to 10 feet)

Don't know what could have caused these beams on the film..It was pitch dark other than our flashlights.. they began at the same time as the temp change. They were not visible to the naked eye and could be attributed to any number of things..not necesarily paranormal.

Approx. 8:45pm..

Fleur takes up the EMF meter again and it is registering at .6 .. it drops to .4 and April (a member working on EVP) states, "It's right here.. next to me.." pointing the EMF meter at April, it reads at 9 for about 30 seconds or so the drops slowly back to normal.

I was taking video on the "night shot" cam and nothing more than a couple of tiny moving lights (which could be attributed to insects) appeared..

the batteries in my night shot cam go from 180 minutes charge to 100 minutes charge in a matter of seconds.. 2 flashlights malfunction

Moments later,as the EMF meter reads normal, Fleur puts down the meter and waits a moment to take it up again..

When taking it up again, it read.7mg.. then it slowly rose until it was off the scale.. We were already out of film at this point (you can never have enough).

The meter dropped back to 6 then back up again untill it peaked then slowly faded to normal... as if someone were watching, approached, came to look at it and then walked away.

We concluded our investigation shortly after 9pm.. covered in mosquito bites and a little elated by the readings..

I have already checked out both the IR thermometer and the EMF meter and both are functioning perfectly. we have more film and data to analyze.. all in all a good time.
