Plantation 3During one evening.. while lying in bed, the couple experienced a true southern storm...Lightning flashes.. the dark night turning momentarily as bright as mid day... there was only one problem.. there was no storm that night.The male occupant looked up to see a bright light in their bedroom.. the female ducked under the covers.. "It looked almost like that thing in 'the entity" ..
Since that time, they have no longer stay in the downstairs bedroom. they have compiled a list of all the events that have occurred, including times and dates. Most of the events occur between 3:30am and 6am. We will be going back for an all night investigation.. probably several.. and briging a lot more gear next time.

Orbs abound...
The home is in wonderful shape for its age.. The current occupants are in the process of restoring it to its former glory.. making it as it was in the early 1800's.. The former owner died in a rest home.. he loved this house more than anything and didn't want to leave.. could he be responsible for the haunting? |
Feelings..
I think almost everyone at the preliminary investigation experienced some uncomfortable feelings in this home.. The female occupant believes there is more than one spirit here.. I tend to agree. |
The Well
The house has a very old well in the back.. remove the cover and you can see the long, dark, stone and brick lined abyss.. ever since the movie "The Ring" wells have seemed a bit creepier to me. In this case a phot is worth more than a thousand words... I took this without a flash.. the flash unit(even though the water was long way off) would have caused reflections that could be easily misinterpeted.. so I just took the picture in the dark and digitally enhanced the photo to pick up any and all images.
