BLACK

'PR'KOSNIK'S BLACK VOODOO MAN

CH ‘PR’ KOSNIK’S BLACK VOODOO MAN is GR CH ‘PR’ CANYON CREEK BIRDMAN’S (Domee) son. He has ABRAMS" MIDNIGHT RANGWR AND FLATBRANCH BO in his pedigree among other well-known Black and Tans. He was born 7.7.99.

He is a lot like his sire in looks, hunting ability, nose, mouth and temperament. He’s in the woods and is doing well. I like what I see. He’s got a good cold nose and that easy to hear big bawl mouth. He still is far from being a finished hound in the woods especially after the terrible fire season Montana had in 2000. That kept us out of the woods and even off our favorite roads to run the dogs. He’s more than ready and anxious to hunt, ranges well for a young hound and picks up those cold tracks. Other than being an independent, hardheaded male, I enjoy hunting this hound. I believe he will prove himself over and over in the years to come.

Black had an excellent showing on the bench in 2000. He made Champion quickly and then proceeded to win just about every CH class he was entered in. He received the Montana Federation of Houndsmen’s trophy for Male Show Dog of the Year 2000. It’s the first year the club is recognizing the winningest show dogs and it was an honor.

Black was shown at Black and Tan Days this past spring while he was still in the Puppy Class. He did great for a young hound and his first big show. He qualified for the UKC World Bench Show 2000 and was shown there with all the other great Black and Tans from around the country. He’s a good-looking dual-purpose hound with only one more win to make Grand Show Champion. He’ll do that in 2001!
