This is my creation, based on Isis the egyptian goddess. My relationship with Isis is deep. She is my ultimate goddess and I honor her above all. It started before I read my first book on magick, before I became neopagan. I had some unusual dreams. I have one dream of her that I will always ponder.
Me and two or three others were helping a little 9yr. old girl. I think she was lost. Well, we all went into a building and stood right in front of the doors. This little girl was strickingly beautiful, with long majestic black hair and pale skin. Then she split, and another personality of her came out. It was her dark side. The dark side ran out of the building and she chased after it. Somehow I knew it was vital for them to reunite. I, interested in what was going on ran after them and caught up with them at the dock of a river. The dream freeze-framed with them standing next to eachother on the dock, looking at me. There was a mysterious, male voice, I remember the first of what it said,"She has been here from the beginning and shall be here till the end.." When I woke up I was befuddled. I had no clue what this dream meant but it seemed important. Later, after I had become interested in paganism I read a book with interviews of pagans and ran across a thing about Isis, in which it said the same thing I had heard in my dream. I also saw pictures of Isis, which convinced me that this little girl had been Isis in disguise. Even after that I found out that Nepthys is the 'dark twin' of Isis. The river was probably the Nile river which she searched for The Body parts of her lover, Osiris who had been killed by Set out of envy. I'm still unsure why she came to me as a child.
