Tis true, as long as there are still people out there that believe in the pagan gods, they will remain. Let us hope they are not forgotten. I personally prefer goddesses, they just click with me better then any gods. Isis is my main goddess. "She who encompasses all, who has been since the beginning and shall be here till the end". this sums up my feeling of her. She is completeness,magickal and a protective and nurturing mother, originally Egyptian (her egyptian name is Auset) her worship spread to Greece and Rome as some Isis 'cult'. I also feel connected to many Greek and Roman gods. Venus is love and passion, she is Roman. Uranus is change and rebellion, he is Roman. Neptune is emotions, water, also Roman. Gaea is the earth, she is Greek. Athena is womanly strength and knowledge, she is also Greek. Kali is destruction and death, she is Hindu. Brigit is poetry, and purity, and she is Celtic.
