Hi to all my Tiger_Family!! "It is just so Grrreat to be here!"
(Anyone have a spare battery?
The game is not over yet.)
I am Tiger_Sha. (This is pronounced like "ha" with a "S" in front.) My name comes from many years back when baby brother learned to say Ma-Ma, and Da-Da, Sha-Sha seemed to come next. My name is "Sheryl". However, affectionately, around my family it still and always will be "Sha."
I am also a native and current resident of FLORIDA. I live a little closer to Orlando than Mickey does. I have a great and usually wonderful husband "John", who is not my first but for sure my last! We have been married for nearly 12 years. I have a grown daughter and son, and a step-daughter. They have blessed us with 4 of the most beautiful granddaughters in the world plus 2 super grandsons! With another to arrive mid-year (2001).
Did someone mention collecting? Precious Moments are found here! I have over 600 (can never have too many Precious Moments) and am a member of the National and Local clubs. I enjoy that family as well, and our motto is "Loving, Caring and Sharing". Sounds like a Tiger? I also collect Beanies, Dolphins, and Hard Rock Café pins on a smaller scale. I support my husband's collections of Cops, Unicorns, and Lighthouses. (With ulterior motive? OH of course NOT) John has recently joined SASS, any others out there?
("Honey, let me know when
you have everything set up")
John and I are both once retired and preparing for the 2nd retirement. We love the water, mountains, nature, travel and camping…so we are depleting the water travel vehicles and have entered the world of RV'ing. Though we have not ventured a long distance YET. But who knows? We may show up on YOUR doorstep.
I truly enjoy good competition and the great game of SPADES!! This could only mean fair, honest, and fun! I kid and joke around all the time; I hear this is the only way to get your foot out of your mouth. Add me to the list of over-aged kids. Mature? Yeah-Right! Only according to my driver's license.
was why she went nil
with the ace of spades!)
AND THEN there is my PARD. Pard of all pards. He is super, he has been my friend, teacher, companion, listener, and my support for over 2 years. We have shared laughter, jokes, thoughts, and life. It seems not so long ago that I would go to play spades and just hope that luck and cards fell into my hands. I thought surely EVERYONE cheated. I was literally bagged, dragged and sagged, until I met JohnGalt, alias Tiger_Galt, alias MY PARD. Then I learned HOW NOT TO LOSE AT SPADES. I guess you could say he practically raised me from a naïve but spunky player that fell off the horse so many times only to climb back on. Maybe it was my determination that brought him to see hope. I was more of an asset to the other team! Thank you JG for your tolerance and patience.
Spades IS all about FUN!! This is our biggest mission. Win or lose, to enjoy the game and share good company. I have a wise and extremely fortunate partner who was lucky enough to find the Tigers_ for us. It is an honor to meet and participate with you all and share in such a supreme fashion the joy of loving, caring and sharing.
