Review by Dave West at Deva comics:
When asked by Leonie O'Moore to contribute to the second issue of There Goes Tokyo - Spotlight On my immediate answer was 'Yes, I'd love to', with absolutely no idea of what I would submit. I discussed an idea that Larry and I had knocked around for a while and we agreed to get going on it. The deadline was around the corner but we pulled it of, 3 pages of a More Than We Seem tale, just off the normal pace of things. So we turned out 'Snowflakes', but how would it sit in a title I've never actually seen ? Would it be totally out of place ? Totally out-classed ? The fact that I had to do it all in black and white, avoiding my usual grey scale tones was a real challenge, would the art look weak in comparison ? Not judging our effort in any way there are two gems for me in this title. Hardcore Bikini All-Stars by Nik Holmes is an extremely proffesional effort. Wonderful art, reminiscent of Jim Mahfood, very stylised and consistent. It tells a wierd little tale of twenty-somethings dabbling with the dark arts, beer and babes. Odd as it all sounds it really works. Secondly is co-editor Leonie O'Moore's own effort. What appears to be autobiographical, two pages tell the beginning of the story 'Girl Who Collected Comics', with a kind of fifties feel to it (not that I guess Leonie was around then, unless she has developed time travel or eternal youth). The art although less consistent than that of Nik Holmes is nicely done and carries the story well. The other tales, though not to my personal taste are all humerous little one or two pagers, and are more humerous than serious, and would sit well within the pages of a number of periodicals packing out the shelves of the local newsagents. My favourite amongst these being 'Simon Sci-Fi Fan Cat' by N. Auchterlonie.

"An anthology of non-internet material by contributers to the very enjoyable There goes Tokyo website, this has its highs and lows. Andy Ross's accomplished take on Tomb Raider and Andy Smith's wry consideration of what happens to Japanese former monster fighters are the high points, well worth the price of entry."7/10 -Mike Kidson, Comics International
T.G.T. Presents issue #2..."The Evolvomatic" by Leonie O'Moore and "Tokyo Jones" by Andy Smith
T.G.T. Presents issue #1..."Love the Monsters" by Leonie O'Moore
Black and white A4 24 page comic by Leonie O'Moore.Price: 1.50 (Sterling)
Review From Comics International:
Leonie O'Moore weaves a story of a shark attack victim's attempts to deal with her experience which, however, may also be read as a general statement on coping with fear and shock. Her art shows traces of Carol Swain's influence, integrated into a raw but powerful style which communicates clearly and with strength. 8/10
