On the 26th and 27th of March this year the Excordis Theatre Company heralded its arrival with the successful launch of its first play "Leading the Blind"
The play was a comedy penned by the Company's founders Trevor and Marisa, and tells the story of a producer and director trying to defraud a charity while staging a supposed 'benefit' concert.
Our short season of 'Leading the Blind' was a success beyond all our expectations. We ended up selling almost all our tickets and making a quite unexpectated profit at the end. We also were able to attract the attention of a few celebrities including the icon of Australian Theatre, Charles 'Bud' Tingwell.
The audiences were unanimous in their praise of the production. The audience's support was echoed by the local member for parliment and the local press.
