Okay, now that you've come this far, I assume that you are ready to at least start getting some essentials together. There are four basic things that should be covered when you are putting a survival kit together: FOOD, WATER, SHELTER, and FIRST-AID. Do you have enough food stored to last a month? A Year? You won't be able to run down to the corner store for a pound of hamburger. How about water? Someday you might go to turn on the faucet, and nothing is going to come out!
