The trail to Snyder Lakes starts at the Lake McDonald Lodge and climbs up the Sperry Glacier trail. The round trip to Lower Snyder Lake is 8.5 miles and the elevation gain is about 2,000 ft. Those who wish to continue farther can bushwack up to Upper Snyder Lake.
