I began to consider all of
the "legends"
people hang onto for the sake of
the Easter "tradition"...and this
concept of the
"Easter Bunny".....("Peter Rabbit")...
has had me baffled as to its true
origination for years!!
I mean...look at this
little fella...his
whole focus is going happily hopping
down the "bunny trail!!!"
(awwwwh........isn't he
cute???)...LOL........
...........but in all due
consideration, it hardly seems possible
to me that he has any other kind of
interest in anything other than
playing!!
Now for a real laugh, lets
seriously consider these guys "visiting"
every house!!!!
It looks to me like all
they want to do is play!!
So,
can you see them... delivering the most
beautifully gift wrapped baskets full of
awesome pure chocolate delicasies...like
the size of this one????????
Picture this basket filled
with "gourmet" jelly beans...speckled
eggs...colored eggs, bite size milk
chocolate
eggs....and.."oh my"...gourmet mouth
watering Chocolate
Rabbits...sounds too yummy to me!!!!
and then....picture these
little fellas attempting to deliver
it!! See what I mean???? (LOL I couldn't
either!!!!)
Personally, I
think their best bet is for them to
continue "hopping down that bunny
trail..."!!! hehehe....
"THE PETER
RABBIT STORY"
In the days of Peter Rabbit and his
siblings (Flopsy, Mopsy and
Cotton-tail)...remember, this is
thinking way back to our childhood story
books by Beatrice Potter...
......... "Peter" was
always getting into trouble!!! He was
repeatedly caught "snacking" in Farmer
McGregor's garden...after he had been
warned by his mother to stay out of that
garden...losing his coat, shoes or
"whatever" on his escape route!!
He had some pretty close
calls avoiding be made into a soup like
his dad had been!!
Needless to say, I
think you can agree with me that unless
he was one GIANT RABBIT from eating all
of those vegetables...he certainly could
not fill the task of the "Easter Bunny"
either!!
So as to the origin of the story of this
"Easter Bunny"....there isn't one that
can be found!!! Therefore, I am positive
that you will agree with me that these
little guys...no longer need to be so
very overprotective of their
eggs!!!!!!
(I am sure they
will be greatly relieved!!) LOL!!
