Millennium - A Review
Well, here it is, what I thought of their new album.
Front Cover
I know it's a hard concept, Kevin: The Floor. No need to stare, really.
Is there something between your hands, Howie?
Is it just me or does AJ remind you of a clown. Just dye the hair red and it's perfect!
The only normal pictures are Brian and Nick, though Nick does look like he's wearing a white raincoat.
What is up with their shoes??? They are SO weird!
First set of solo photos
AJ, please, GET RID OF THE HAT!!!
Nick is looking a little sleepy. His foot also looks kinda demented in the water.
Kevin is a little pissed. I think he wants more solo parts!
Howie, ditch the red pajamas! No one wants to see your sleep wear!
Brian, well I guess you were the only normal one in there!
Center Shot
Why are they all wearing gray raincoats?
I think Nick looks like that blond guy from Ultra!
Second set if solo photos
Kevin looks normal, just calm down with the hair!
Brian looks like he could use a trip to the men's room.
AJ's probably praying for someone to stop this CHEESY photo shoot.
Nick, are you stoned???
Howie's probably been taking the same drugs Nick has.
The white pic
No complaints here except for the hair. AJ, what's with the clown look? And Kevin, have you lost your comb?
Thank Yous
I couldn't actually be bothered reading this (it was SO long!), but what the hell does Nick say with the numbers???
Why can't they ever have all the lyrics to all the songs?
The Songs (finally)
Larger Than Life
Oh! I'm so touched! A song for us! Wow! (Sorry, I just have to be sarcastic here!) Love your maniacal laughter, AJ!!! When they sing, "All of your time spent keeps us ali-ali-ali-ali-ali-ali-alive." That bit really annoys me!
I Want It That Way
What the hell does this song mean? Was its sole purpose to confuse us? There is no point in this song!
"I wanna hear you say. I never wanna hear you say." Make up your minds, guys! I REALLY do not get this song at all. And the video clip wasn't exactly good either. See my review of the video clip.
Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely (Why can't the title be shorter?)
Another confusing song. Okay, maybe not as bad as IWITW, but it's still weird. Other than that, I thought it was quite a cool ballad!
It's Gotta Be You
I like this song! It's pretty good. I know AJ sings the first verse and I think he should sing the second one too. Brian sings an octave higher than AJ, but I think AJ sounds better. Love your bit, Nick!
I Need You Tonight
I really wish Nick would stop mumbling through the whole song. I could hardly understand a single word of the thing. I mean, I thought the first words were "hope an arm!"
Don't Want You Back
I thought I liked the song but not anymore. It's a little too... I dunno but it gets a little annoying after awhile.
Don't Wanna Lose You Now
Okay this song is pretty cool. The tune was pretty nice and the singing, of course!
The One
This is one of my faves on this album. It's cool! Good job, B-Rok! Love the guitar! You gotta love this song!
Back To Your Heart
This is cool too. Good job, Kevin! You'd think that since Kevin wrote the song, he'd have a solo part!
Spanish Eyes
This is definitely NOT one of my faves. Does Brian have a sore throat or something? When he sings, "And it's telling me" in the chorus, you can here his voice is a bit scratchy. Nick does not sound like himself either. Why is it 'Spanish' eyes anyway???
No One Else Comes Close
I thought this song sounded familiar. I heard it was a remake but I'm not sure of what song. It's pretty cool. Again, Nick sounds a bit off.
The Perfect Fan
Aaawwwww... Ain't dat sweet? Spice Girls, Boys II Men, and probably a lot of others. I think that BSBs' ode to their mothers was one of the best.
I'll Be There For You
Okay song, not too bad. Sorry, not much of the comments.
You Wrote The Book On Love
Another 'okay' song. I really can't hear what Nick is saying, again. They really should make him sing clearly. The song gets a little bit repetitive.
Anyway, I'm done with the critical comments! Woohoo!
I think the worst songs on this album are a toss up between Don't Want You Back, Spanish Eyes and I Need You Tonight.
My favorite songs are It's Gotta Be You, Don't Wanna Lose You Now, The One, Back To Your Heart and No One Else Comes Close.
So there. That's what I thought of Millennium. Don't you think I would make the best critic? Just kiddin'.
