A full view of the wound. It was shallow, thank heavens. The revision involved basically a redo of the skin portion of the procedure. The surgeon made all new incisions, took out all the dead stuff, tightened things up considerably while he was at it, and cleaned it all really well. Then he closed me up again, with drains in about the same spots as before, and lots of and lots of stitches and staples. It took about two months to heal fully from the whole experience. My results are lovely, but I'm sure not eager to do any more of this reconstructive stuff.
