It is not documented but is reasonable that the Michael Burns(Byrns) married to Priscilla (Unknown) were the parents of John Burns (Byrns) b ca 1760/65 in MD d ca 1840 Washington County, KY.
John's first wife's name is unknown at this point. His second wife was Elizabeth (hard to make out the last name....which begins with a 'C'

Our ancestor, Joseph C. Burns (Byrns) was married to Nancy Ann RIGGS in 1819 After the death of Joseph, Nancy married Charles BURRIS. They accompanied the Burns family in 1853 when they traveled by wagon train from Illinois. The family settled in Mendocino County, CA in 1857
Nancy lived in Mendocino County, California with John's family for a while but eventually went to Ventura County with her youngest daughter Isabelle Burris/Pitts. Nancy and Isabelle are buried in an old cemetery there.

Nancy Ann Burns b 22 Nov 1822 in Simpson TWP Washington Co. KY d 21 Jul 1899 in Johnson, MO married to Willard HUBBARD on 20 Jan 1843 in Aledo, Mercer Co. IL.
