Joshua's family consists of his mom, Fiona, and his 14 year old sister,
Aisleagh (pronounced Ashley). He's also got two stepbrothers, Lymon and
Jonathan (eight and fifteen years older). His pets are a cat named Magic, a possesive
black labrador named Shumba (who gets to sleep with Josh!) and a turtle called Searesha.
Josh, who is left-handed (like
me!), is a native of Vancouver, British Columbia. Despite the rumors saying that Josh is an architect major at the University of British Columbia, I've heard that Josh is NOT attending college right now. Someday, however, he would like to study English and Philosophy. Right now he's living with his co-star
James Van Der Beek in Wilmimgton, NC so he can film Dawson's Creek.
At the age of 9, Joshua decided he wanted to pursue an acting career. Fiona,
being a casting director at the time, knew how cruel an acting career could be.
She took Josh to his first audition in hopes of discouraging him, but
instead he landed a commercial for Keebler's potato chips.

When Josh was 15, he'd already been kicked out of school twice - once for attitude
and once for lack of attendance. He's gotten better since then - well, sort of.
On the set of Dawson's Creek Josh is quite the prankster. Lucky Michelle
Williams says of Joshua's mooning her: "I've seen that boy's butt more times than I care to say."
I've been told that he was "arrogant" by one person who's worked with him and "great" by another.
Joshua says of himself: "I'm kind of boisterous and occasionally obnoxious."
