The river and I
I merrily dive into, this chaotic river. Tis far more better here. Confused as I am, I wandered; and lost my way along deceitul sidestreets, in the jungle. Thus I dared and followed unbeaten, virgin ways, Unknowing that one of which was, the untold path of gold. Yet, as my shoulders drooped, patience escaped me. I gave up, and began anew, which left me dumbfounded. The most pitiful cite. Now, my feet led me to this river's bank. Her waters are in no jovial mood; flowing intensely, |
Her misery evident in disarray. And as I immersed into the lucid water, and felt her comforting embrace; I allowed my body to drift. Her persuasive currents, my sole guidance. Alone I am not, for with her -- I am. Uneasy and distraced this living river may be, At least she's unashamed of her honesty. Truth overflows here: in her genuine panic; her abandonment of will; the surrender to fate; Divine acceptance of nature; and in her sincere letting go of pain; which settles unforgotten, underneath. In this river, I'll stay. |
