The 5 girls all live in Orlando, Flordia. Mandy & Danay live together, while Veronica & Nikki also share a home.
Nikki Deloach started the group in Orlando with fellow ex-Micky mouse Club member Britney Spears two years ago. It was Justin Timberlake's ('N SYNC) mom who was instrumentalin putting Innocence together. 25 year old Cuban born Danay Ferrer grew up in Miami, but moved to Orlando where she went to highschool with 'N SYNC's Joey Fatone, who recomended her for the opening in another Trans Continental group called Solid Harmonie. (Danay speaks both Spanish and English) Mandy Ashford, a Clinton Mississippi native, was a classmate of Lance Bass ('N SYNC) and shared a vocal-coach with both Lance and Justin. The girls all moved to Justin's mom, Lynn Harless, home in Memphis for some intensive rehearsing. Soon after Britney decided to launch her own career and 18 year old Memphis born Veronica Finn was recuited to take her place. The final piece of the puzzle came with the addition of 19 year old Jenny Morris in January '99. The Pickerington, Ohio native had met Nikki before while in Los Angeles and had previously recorded a Country Record.
