She started singing at her local church where her father, a psychologist, served as a youth minister, to opening for hot "Boy band" sensation 98*. When Jessica was 12 she auditioned for the Mickey Mouse Club. She made it all the way to the final audtion when she 'froze'. She has no regrets though, her reply to this: "The experience made me even stronger and more conviced that I was on the right path". Jessica may only be 20 but her strong singing voice is much older. She was signed to Columbia Records by Mariah Carey's ex-husband, and he knows true talent.

Her debut release, 'I Wanna Love You Forever', climbed the charts rapidly after it's release as well as her latest single 'I Think I'm In Love With You'. Jessica wrote and recorded a song which was featured on The Dawson's Creek's Soundtrack, called 'Did You Ever Love Somebody'. Jessica has written a few of her songs on her new album, 'Sweet Kisses', inspired after tragic accidents occuring early in her life.

Miss. Simpson has toured with the likes of Ricky Martin and 98 degrees and has also been dating 98 degree band member Nick Lachey for almost 2 years (January 10th is their anniversary).
