On September 27,1997 I married Christopher.
We were married in Walden, New York at
Saint Andrews Church, by Mother Robin.
We didn't realize it till we were
all set with the plans that the wedding
would fall on Walden Day. The towns'
annual day for a street celebration right
there in front of the church.
They would have all roads going into
the town square blocked. Meaning no way
for guests to park close or limos
to go through. With the help of Mother
Robin, I needed to then mail everyone
out parking passes for our wedding.
So another 100 stamps were used and an
explanation to all the guests on
what was going on.
We were the only ones ever to book a
wedding on Walden Day at the church
right there in front of it all.
We were told that they would have
several spaces and a parking lot open
only for our wedding. I was to busy
doing things I forgot to even see if
they did that. But the guests were there
and that's all that mattered. I was
traveling from my parents' house in
Connecticut to New York. My limo was
45 minutes late and it was an hour
and fifteen minutes to the church. The
police allowed for the limos to go through
and there I was driving in a limo while
the police told people to move and to
get out of the limo and have everyone
staring was different. After the wedding
it wasn't just us there it was the whole
town watching us as we got into the limos
and drove away. Afterward we were at the
Meadowbrook Lodge in Vails Gate, New York.
