Oh yeah my story name is Sailor_Exteme14 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Overview: After a run in with one particularly mean man Serena comes to the conclusion that all men are jerks. Darien happens to over hear her say this and is determined to prove that he for one is not a jerk and with Christmas just around the corner it seems like the perfect time; but how will he do it? Disclaimer: ::sigh:: I still don't own any characters in this story. May haps I will some day though. Me â ˜o my I certainly tend to babble on and on in these disclaimers huh? Oh well. . . onto the story! Men are Jerks Prologue I was walking, ok more like running, down the icy streets of Tokyo yelling, "I'm late again Rei's gonna kill me" to no one in particular; and while most people were staring at me like I was crazy someone respond, " Hey Serena! Wait for us!" I slowed down just long enough for the scout of love and beauty and the scout of thunder and lightning to catch up then we were off like a couple of rockets. "Late again I see" Mina joked. "You should talk! Why are you two late any way?" "Well. . . â ˜ya see. . . we were at the mall Christmas shopping and scopin out guys and lost track of time." she ended in a nervous chuckle. I started to laugh so hard that I could see where I was going and before I knew it I was on the ground. "Oh I'm soooooooo sorry I wasn't looking were I was going it's all my. . ." I started but before I could finish. . . " I'D SAY YOU SHOULD BE SORRY! LOOK! YOU RUINED MY NEW SUIT! YOU STUPID STUPID GIRL!" People once again stopped to stare. " I am really truly sorry. I didn't mean to" I said meekly and tears were beginning to creep up in the corners of my eyes but this time from hurt; I've never been yelled at like this especially for something as minor as this. "WELL SORRY ISN'T GOING TO FIX THIS, IS IT?" pointing to the suit, " I HAVE HALF A MIND TO. . .TO OH I DON'T' KNOW" I don't wish to think of how long this verbal abuse would of gone on if it had not been for " Hey! You leave her alone! She said she was sorry!" Ah Lita always the type to stand up for a friend. " OH *LOOK* HERE COMES THE CALVARY! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? PUSH ME DOWN AGAIN? PATHETIC GOOD FOR NOTHINGS!" This was too much for her before anyone could restrain her she was on top of him punching from every angle. And while most people were cheering the beating of this awful man Mina had her hands full trying to get Lita off. After about five minutes she succeeded and took her over to a corner to cool off. The man stood up now shaken but with something he must do. He walked over to me and whispered, "She can't be with you always and when she's gone your gonna get it" and with that he slapped me hard across the face. I started to cry heavily and Lita, who couldn't be restrained anymore took off after the man and came back in about two minutes with a satisfied look on her face; but when she saw me it quickly turned to a frown and she walked over to help Mina comfort me. A few minutes later most people had stopped to offer their condolences and were back to their lives but one man stood in the shadows as they passed to their original destination now in silence and much much slower. He also happened to hear Serena ask, " Why are men such jerks?" Mina just shrugged her shoulders and Lita just thought about that for a while. The man knew that part of her opinion was given from himself and that man walked off with one goal in mind: to prove that not all men are jerks, *especially* him. Author's note: Man â ˜o Man! A lot has happened. Will Rei totally flip this time? Who was that mystery man? The old geezer? And why was he so mean especially around Christmas?
