Hey all it's me Sailor_Extreme14 let me get you all caught up with the times while Serena changes. First of all it's Christmas Eve and the day of the annual high school party. The entire gang is out at the mall trying to find the "perfect" dress for the party tonight. Over the past five days Serena has received the following: the new 6Geese cd ‘Now we're laying', a one of a kind hand crafted collectable porcelain plate with a picture of seven swimming swans, a video game where eight milking maids mutiny, a gift certificate to ‘Nine Dancing Ladies' and tickets to the play ‘Ten Leaping Boys'.(A.N. Yeah I know these are getting really dumb but what can you come up with?) Along with five new addition to the never ending song. Oh look Serena's coming out lets go see what the others think. . .
"Well?" asked Serena as she stepped out of the dressing room. "Wow!" was all Ami could mutter. "Ditto, Serena you look great!" Mina added. Serena smiled, "You think so?" "Yeah! Great! Can we go now?" asked Lita. "Lita! You and Rei are in it together?" Serena joked, "Fine go on. I'll see you all later thought, ok? Don't forget. My house 6:30." "Ok. Bye Serena!" chorused the group on their way out the door.
"How do I look?"Serena asked Luna. "Lovely." was the simple but effective answer. It was true too. Serena was wearing a strapless cotton candy pink colored dress that gently outlined her delicate curves and reached down to her ankles. Her arms had white gloves that stretched to her elbows. She wore a silver chain necklace with a soft pink stone on the end with matching earrings. Her hair, instead of it's usual "meatball" style, cascaded down her back and a crown of pink roses adorned her head. A very light amount of glitter on her face completed the outfit. "You think so?" Serena asked again twirling in front of her full length mirror. Luna was about to reassure her when the doorbell rang and Serena ran off the get it. "Of course. You're beautiful." Luna said to her self. "Thanks!" Serena said popping her head back in the room for a second before running back to the stairs.
"Serena! You look fabulous!" Rei exclaimed. "So do all of you! Hey wait a minute! You all copied me." Serena pouted. "Not true!" said Mina. "Yes, technically since we're all wearing different colors we are not the same." reasoned Ami. "Really! Hey you're right!" brightened Serena. They all were wearing the same design of dress, however, their hair was left the same and, indeed, they were different colors. Rei's was red, Ami's blue, Mina's orange and Lita's green. "Mom! I'm going now!" shouted Serena. "Okay! Have fun." "Don't worry we will." assured Serena and with that she grabbed her coat and was off with her friends.
"What do you think, Lita? Having fun yet." asked Serena. "You bet! This place is rocking." returned Lita. "Yes, quite lively isn't it?" interjected Ami. "Excuse me. May I have everyone's attention please!" Everybody stopped what they were doing and looked up to the stage to see Molly, the student body president. "Serena Tsukino. Will please come up here please." Serena was shocked but none the less went to the stage. " Serena. . .This was left for you earlier. I'm sure you wouldn't mind opening it, would you?" Molly asked handing her a gift.
(A.N. Oh yeah did I forget to mention that her little ordeal became the major school chat subject??? Oooooops sorry. :-} )
Serena blushed furiously and was about to say that she couldn't possibly open it in front of so many people when there came a scream from the back of the gym. Jennie Harrison, the head cheer leader, came running to the stage closely followed by Mr. Willis. "Mr. Willis! What do you think you're doing!?" shouted Mrs. Perfect. "Who are *you* to tell *me* what to do!?" he screamed at her while transforming into a purple monster with wings, "Pathetic humans! I need not listen to you nor anyone else except my master! And you! Little Miss. Serena Tsukino! I'm going to teach you to watch where you're going from now on!" With that he picked her up and started to suck her energy when. . . "Mars. . .Celestial. . .Fire. . .Surround!" A fire arrow hit his hand and the monster dropped his victim to face the inner scouts. While they got down to business Serena went back stage, quickly transformed and raced back to the fight. Not a moment to soon. The scouts were all down and the monster was about to send to final blow but Sailor Moon quickly stepped up to plate. "Hey Nega trash! Yeah I'm talking to you! What kind of demon attacks innocent people, especially at a Christmas party? Well I won't stand for it! In the name of the moon I will punish you!" He laughed, "You think you can stop me! Look around yourself. I defeated your friends! Do you honestly think you can stop me by yourself!? You're all alone!" "Not quite!" before he could turn around he was hit in the head with a metal fold up chair. "Don't you ever think of trying to hurt me or my students you stupid monster! I can't believe I actually hired you! Now Sailor Moon!!!" shouted an extremely angry Mrs. Perfect. Sailor Moon nodded her head, "Right, Moon. . .Scepter. . .Elimination!" "Mr. Willis" woke up just in time to scream then it was all over. The scouts disappeared without a trace and within half an hour the party was up and running again. Lucky for her, the school body had forgotten about the present and Serena and the scouts made it out of the party without a hitch.
After Serena was home and in her room she opened the gift. Inside were eleven toy soldiers each with his own flute, or fife, and a note.
Serena, Tomorrow is Christmas and I'd like to give you the last and final gift in person. Please meet me at the park at nine pm tomorrow in front of the gazebo.
Serena couldn't believe what she just read she was going to finally meet the one person she could ever really love. The one she fell in love with through simple doodads and notes. She was so caught up in her thoughts that she didn't hear. . .
"On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me. . .eleven fifers fifing, ten boys are leaping, nine ladies dancing, eight maids are milking, seven swans are swimming, six geese are laying, five golden rings, four calling birds, three french hens, two turtle doves. . .and a partridge in a pear tree."
Serena gave up all hope of sleep that night and instead spent the time deciding what she was going to wear. Christmas morning went by extremely slow and the rest of the day was pure torture. Eventually it was 8:30 and Serena decided that if she was going to make it on time she had better get a move on it. She told her family she was going to Rei to exchange gifts with each other and left. At exactly nine o'clock she reached the gazebo. However, instead of someone being there, there was only a box. ‘Oh now! Did he chicken out?' she thought. Serena sighed and opened the box. Inside were twelve toy soldiers this time each with their own drum.
Serena, Don't be disappointed. I never back out of a promise. Look up! Look up she did and who should be standing there was none other then Darien! Right there in front of the gazebo. Serena's heart sang. He was the one she was hoping it would be. She wasted no time and in less then three seconds she was in his arms hugging with all her strength. Darien leaned down to kiss her but made a slight detour to her ear, "So, are men still jerks?" Serena giggled, "Yeah. . .but I think I'm in love with this one." with that they closed the gape between their lips. Just as their lips touched it started to snow.
Up in the clouds Queen Serenity smiled, ‘Finally,' she thought, ‘They have finally found each other.' With that she began to sing, "On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me. . .twelve drummers drumming, eleven fifers fifing, ten boys are leaping, nine ladies dancing, eight maids are milking, seven swans are swimming, six geese are laying, five golden rings, four calling birds, three french hens, tow turtle doves. . .and a partridge in a pear tree."
Author's Note: How was that for an ending? Pretty soon I'm coming out with an epilogue so keep your eyes peeled. So what do you think? Good or bad? I need to know!
