In the mid 60's a rock 'n' roll movement began in garages all across Canada.  Inspired by The Beatles and Rolling Stones, the youth of Canada began to rock.  From the east Montreal, Toronto, and Hamilton.  North and around the lakes to Algoma and Thunder Bay.  Across the prairie through Winnipeg and Regina to the foothill cities Calgary and Edmonton.  Over the mountains to the west coast Vancouver and Victoria the movement spread. I played guitars and sang in my parents garage, school dances and local clubs.  It was fun and exciting times; all the girls wanted to be with the band.  It was a thrill when I first heard one of our songs played on the radio; we were nearly famous.
