There were three hundred and fourty three firefighters that were lost in the world trade center attacks. Many were not on call that day but at the time of the attack they drove into work to help out due to the large size of the accident. Doing what they do best, saving those that they could. Another man that was lost on that fateful day is Father Mychial Judge. He was the chaplin for many of the firestations in the city of New York and throughout Manhatan and the Bronx.

As a firefighter and EMT last September hit me hard. It's tough to think about what people see the United States as. We are viewed as a threat to some countries and so we get attacked. My father is also a firefigter adn since that day I think about him all the time, I don't know what I would do with out my dad.
