Rod Stewart is the best rock star to me. I bet he's got fans all over the world, especially those who are in their 30's or 40's are still a fan simply because his songs tells us some stories. I used to listen to every word that he sang even though his pronunciation is hard to understand, that's also part of his style, with his husking voice and fading whisper adds color to his songs. His uniqueness is unpretentious and natural, only a die hard fan could comprehend. Though his looks is nothing to shout about, in fact he is near ugly according to some, but that simply prove that looks is nothing compared to talent.
