Drunken Master
Drunken Master was one of Jackie Chan's first big hits, following on from his breakthrough film Snake in the Eagle's Shadow. He plays a bored, spoilt young man who spends his time annoying his teachers, picking fights and chasing girls. He eventually goes too far and is sent by his father to live with his sadistic uncle. Not liking the hard work, he runs away, only to fall foul of the film's bad guy, who mocks his Kung Fu and gives him a sound beating. Jackie is forced to return to his uncle to learn the drunken boxing style, so he can have a rematch.
This film is packed with fights. It seems that he gets into a fight with everyone he meets, including the mother of a girl he's chasing! With lots of fighting Drunken Master is very entertaining, and in turns, funny and brutal.
