Project A
Project A marked the beginning of Jackie Chan's movement away from traditional martial films and towards 'cop with a black belt' type films. This film is also the first of three Chan-directed films co-starring Yuen Biao and Samo Hung and features some impressive co-ordinated fighting by Chan and Hung; their two characters are responsible for a lot of the humour in the film too. Project A's characterized by almost non-stop action (most of it group versus group) and some inventive and typically dangerous stunts, particularly at the clock tower.
