Lexx 2.5 Lafftrak
The Lexx picks up some TV signals from a dead planet...
...and Xev talks Stan into going down to investigate.
The planet is TVworld and they are offered the chance to be in a TV show.
Xev is enthusiastic, but there is only space for one so Stan has to hold 790...
...but he soon gets fed up of his insults and throws him into the next door along.
Stan thinks the whole thing's a bad idea - until he reaches the next door...
...and things seem to be getting better and better as he's the star of 'Girl Time' with Slinké and Yo-yo...
...he's even popular with the audience to begin with.
As is Xev, who's enjoying herself immensely on 'Boy School'.
Suddenly, the lights go out and Xev is told her ratings are good enough for her to move to prime time...
...Stan's aren't however and he gets demoted to daytime TV.
Meanwhile, 790 is a chat show host, but only wants to talk about Xev.
Soon, Stan has bombed out on the soap 'Heartbreak Hospital' and gets demoted again - to morning TV...
...while Xev is the star of 'The Xev Show'.
Playing 'Diapers' on a kids show is the last straw for Stan...
...and for the ranks of decapitated heads that make up the audience - who vote him off again.
The only show left for Stan is the speciality show, which is live footage of his decapitation so he can become a permanent member of the audience!
The Lexx has been receiving the TV transmissions and Kai wakes up to Stanley's impending doom.
He heads down to the TV studio after him, and is rather less impressed by Slinké than Stan was.
Kai arrives in the nick of time and takes Stan's place in the decapitation machine
He is shortly joined by 790, whose constant bleating for Xev didn't get him very good ratings.
Things aren't going so well for Xev and she also falls foul of the ratings.
Having escaped, Stan has been looking for Xev, but instead finds Kai's body walking around...
...and together they rescue Xev from the machine.
They find the audience chamber and retrieve 790 and Kai's heads, before returning to the Lexx and leaving
But they don't see what happens to TVworld a short time later...
