Lexx 2.1 Terminal
Stan tries to wake Kai in a rush and gets the revival sequence wrong.
Kai wakes up in assassin mode and destroys Stan's heart with his scorpion brace. He quickly returns to normal, but Stan has to be put into deep freeze or he'll die.
Before he does, Zev persuades him to give up the key to the Lexx.
They take the Lexx to a medical satellite to try and save Stan...
...but the lack of any sort of payment means they can't convince the medical staff to save Stan...
...until Zev instructs the Lexx to destroy the planet the satellite is orbitting.
Stan is rushed to the operating theatre...
...a new heart is prepared...
...and Stan is saved.
The dashing surgeon takes a libidinous Zev out to dinner...
...while Kai and 790 are left to wait.
To Zev's disappointment the surgeon isn't interested in sex, just the Lexx, and drugs her.
Meanwhile, Kai and 790 are attacked by medical staff with cryogenic gas...
Kai's frozen body is removed, while 790 ends up in the bin.
The evil surgeon plans to bring Zev to the point of death to force the Lexx's energy key to leave her...
...but it causes her cluster lizard DNA to become dominant and she escapes and eats everyone.
790 has been busy in the meantime, commandeering Stan's hoverbed and reviving Stan just in time to come face-to-face with a cluster lizard...
...but Zev is only interested in finding Kai (who the medical staff have been trying to kill) and rolls on, with 790 in hot pursuit.
Having failed to kill Kai by any other means, the medical staff find that directing a plasma beam from the satellite's reactor into him seems to work.
Kai is saved when cluster lizard Zev rolls into the beam, knocking him out of it. He deactivates the beam, but it's too late, Zev has absorbed too much energy...
...and she returns the key to Stan moments before she disintergrates.
Kai collects up the proteinaceous sludge that is left and they return to the Lexx
...and depart
