Subject: Texas Burials-Samie
Hi Samie, I don't know how you were able to come up with all those Monzingo TX
burials as I also went into Roots Web and couldn't find anything for TX. Would you see if you can find a notice for Elizabeth Roberts nee Talitha Ernestine Monzingo, (aunt Billie) who died and was buried in Dallas or that vicinity in the mid sixties. My brother was in the Marine Corp. at the time, and had to go to TX to arrange her funeral and help dispose of her property. I'm pretty sure he went to Dallas. I know that she was a secretary in Dallas as she sent her mail to me from her work, although I did, at one time have her home address. (Is Middleton a suburb of Dallas?) I think it would be about 1967 or there about. would appreciate it if you can come up with anything on her. Thanks, Gayle C.

Subject: My Aunt "Billie"
Hi Carolyn, Thanks for the info. I was always under the impression that my aunt
was about 10 years older than my father, but I see that she was only 3 years older. I'm still hoping that I can find a record of the year of her death when she was then known as Elizabeth Roberts, her married name. She had changed her first name from Talitha to Elizabeth. Wish I could also find a military record of her duty in the WACs in WWI, or my father's Navy record during WWI. Thanks again for making the effort. Gayle C.

... I checked with my brother, and he said that was the year [1966] that he had to go down to Texas to bury her. She only listed my brother, sister and myself as relatives, and my brother as power of atty. Guess she lost touch with any other relatives. ... Love, Gayle
