MONZINGO: Jesse Leonard Monzingo, 72, died Jan. 29 in Silver City. Monzingo was born March 14, 1909, in Vernon, Texas, the son of George and Ollie Mae Patton Monzingo and had resided here in Silver City since 1957. He had been the manager of A.M. Lewis Wholesale for 20 years before retiring in 1975. He is survived by his wife, Lela Monzingo; two sons, Robert Monzingo of Phoenix, Ariz., and Jerry Allen Monzingo of Cliff; a daughter, Anna Mae McCubbin of Casa Grande, Ariz., four brothers, Don Monzingo of Idaho, Ed Monzingo of Santa Rosa, Tom Monzingo of Safford, Ariz., and Jack Monzingo of Bonita, Ariz., two sisters, Margie Cox and Hettie Black, both of Sahuarita, Ariz., ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. KELLY: Annie M. Kelly, 89, died, Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Rest Haven Nursing Home. Mrs. Kelly, a native of Uvalde, Tex., had been a resident of Silver City for the past 3 years. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Lela Monzingo of Silver City, Mrs. Nellie Glenn of Oracle, Ariz., Mrs. Jessie Trappman of El Frieda, Ariz., Mrs. Annabel Niprikas of Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Peggy White of Mammoth, Ariz., Mrs. Betty White of Oracle, Ariz., a son, Patrick Kelly of Mulberry, Ark., 23 grandchildren, 76 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. Survivors also include two sisters, Mrs. Della Wells of Oregon, Mrs. Etta Clark of Yuma, Ariz., four brothers Bluford Patterson of Benson, Ariz., Monroe Patterson and Dale Patterson of Colorado. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Sat. Oct. 28 in the Evergreen Mortuary Chapel in Tucson with burial following in the Evergreen Cemetery. Curtis-Bright Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
