I was given your name by Gayle. My maiden name was Mozingo. I am the daughter of James Alton Mozingo of Lenoir County, LaGrange, North Carolina. My grandfather was Willie Mozingo of Kinston, North Carolina who married Maggie Riley Rouse, also of Kinston. My dilemma--Grandfather Willie's parents were Ruffin Mozingo and Beulah Parrish Ellis. On the 1930 census, grandfather Willie was listed as a step-son of Ruffin. Therefore, I'm not sure if we are actually Mozingo's. I cannot find any information on Beulah Parrish Ellis and who she may have married before Ruffin.
Do you have any suggestions as to how I would go about finding out exactly who I am!! I am very new to genealogy research. Gayle has helped me so much.
