WILLIAM G. MONZINGO
Before attending the University of Washington, William worked on the
famous Manhatten Project in Chicago. He was president of the Class of
1950. After graduation, he had a general practice in Concrete, Washington,
and was the only doctor in the area. He even had his own �ambulance.�
In addition, he was an avid pilot and became the chairman of the
board at Sedro Wooley Hospital.
William G. Monzingo died in August, 1980.

Evelyn Monzingo

Evelyn Monzingo, 91, Fargo, ND, died Thursday, October 2, 2003, in Rosewood On Broadway, Fargo.

Evelyn Frances Werner was born May 12, 1912, to William and Anne (Appel) Werner, in rural Woods, ND. Evelyn graduated from high school in Leonard, ND, and attended college at Mayville State, Mayville, ND. She taught second grade in schools in North Dakota and Washington.

On January 13, 1944, Evelyn married Dr. William Monzingo and they made their home in Concrete, WA. William died in 1980, and Evelyn moved to Fargo in 1989. She became a resident of Rosewood On Broadway in April of 2002.

Evelyn is survived by two nieces and two nephews, Kathryn (Ole) Johnson, Oakes, ND, Diane (Maynard) Asleson, Mapleton, ND, Wally Foulkes, Tacoma, WA, and John (Judi) Foulkes, Olympia, WA; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three sisters, Mildred Ross, Nettie Foulkes, and Ethel Werner.
