He was married to Sarah Jane Larcum who died in 1895. His parents as listed on his death certificate were Darnell Mozingo and Patsy Crouch, both both in England(which is questionable). The informat was Mrs. Florence Knecht, Jr. (Florence Mozingo a sister). He died at his son's home (Arthur J?) at 1511 West 2nd St, Anderson, Indiana and his doctor was E. F. King and the body was handled by Geo. Todd & County, funeral home. John Arthur was buried in the family plot by Florence Mozingo Duke Knecht, his daughter, in the East Hill Cemetery, Rushville, Indiana.
