As a 'Mozingo' descendant who just recently found this site, I've been reading the posts with great interest. My grandfather was a Mozingo, and since he and my grandmother were divorced in the mid-40's that side of my ancestry has always been quite a mystery. I lost contact with the rest of that family when I was in my teens and they are nearly all passed on now. My mother was one of five girls and one boy. His name was Jackson Mozingo and was the youngest of the family. The last time I heard about him, he was living in Dothan, Alabama. I don't know if he is still living.... Joann Hodd

.... My grandfather was Charles Mozingo, and they lived in Orange Grove, Mississippi back in the 40's. He worked at Ingalls shipyard in Pascagoula for awhile, then owned a business in Orange Grove. My grandmother's name was Minnie Mozingo. her maiden name was McClendon and they lived in Waynesboro, Miss. Charles and Minnie had five children. Four girls: Audrey, Ethel, Reba and Denise...and one son, Jack. My mother was Reba Mozingo (maiden name). I would appreciate hearing from anyone who might have known this family of Mozingos, and getting any further information. Thank you Joalaska@@ptialaska.net
