Margaret McCracken,82, of Van-Wert,Ohio, Formerlt of Hamilton ,
Ohio,died at 2:30 p.m. Monday , Feb.17,1997, at Vancrest Nursing home.
Born June 28,1915,in Greensburg,she was the daughter of Edwin Joseph
and Nancy(Holcomb) Mozingo. She married George Thurman McCracken on
Dec. 28,1940, in Williamstown , Ky. and he proceded her in death on Jan. 5,1972
McCracken assisted her husband in the family business of home
construction. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include son, George McCracken of VanWert,Ohio;two
sisters,Roxie Reed of Greensburg and Ruth Ponsler of North Vernon and
Wilber Mozingo of Greensburg; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was precedeed in death by three sisters,Lucille Mozingo,Orpha
Minor and Mary Robbins; and three brothers,Terry,Lowell and Raymond Mozingo.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Webb-Noonan Funeral Home 240
Ross Ave. Hamilton with the Rev. Grant Montgomery,pastor of First
United Methodist Church,officiationg
Burial will be at Rose Hill Burial Park.
Visitation will be from 5-8p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
