Services for Ardis Mae Monzingo, known as "Ma" to her family, will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2005, at Wayne Avenue Baptist Church. Committal services will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park, South Highway 87.

The family will gather with friends to reminisce her 81 years of life from 7 until 8 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at Rix Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Monzingo died Monday, April 25, 2005.

Orville Glenn Monzingo, her husband of 23 years, preceded her in death Nov. 7, 1977. Survivors include her children, Mike Monzingo and his wife Susan of Lubbock, Mark Monzingo and his wife Barbara of Bedford, and Michelle Monzingo of Colorado Springs, Colo.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and relatives.
