He married Clara Anna Mozingo on May 15, 1896. She was born June 30, 1879 in Radnor, Delaware Co., Ohio and died June 4, 1919 in Delaware Co., Ohio. Clara was the daughter of Barney Mozingo and Julie Savens. Henry was buried on May 1, 1938 in Maple Mound Cemetery in Creston, Wayne Co., Ohio.

"Clara Annie, daughter of Barney and Julia Mozingo, was born June 30, 1879, in Delaware County; departed from this world June 4, 1919, aged 39 years, 11 months and 5 days. She was married to Henry Perry, of Scitot County, May 15, 1896. To this union were born twelve children, four of whom have receded her to the great beyond in their infancy. She had been sick for over a year, during which time she suffered greatly, but bore her suffering patiently. She leaves to morn her departure, her husband and eight children: Clifford of Cleveland; Ozillen Preston, of Columbus; Maude, Genevieve, Margaret, Mary, Bessie, and Walter, at home; also her mother, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters, and a host of relatives and friends."
